NOTE: Transportable tablespaces are excellent in transporting large amounts of data efficiently. However, a transportable tablespace can be imported only if the target database character set is the same or a superset of the source's characterset. All users who have databases with different character sets will not be able to import the sample data via this method as results may vary.

Based on that fact and since the size of this downloadable sample is relatively small, the regular database dump file format may be a better choice for you to download.
