AccuWeather and ADC WorldMap Partner to Power a Global Weather Forecast Solution

APPLETON, WI and STATE COLLEGE, PA – July 12, 2010 – AccuWeather.com the world’s leading multimedia weather information source, and ADC WorldMap, a leader in providing comprehensive, current, and seamless geographical data for the whole earth, today announce their partnership to power the AccuWeather.com suite of web-based and mobile forecasts with the ADC WorldMap Digital Atlas mapping technology.

This site provides customized, hourly forecasts for millions of domestic and worldwide locations and is regularly ranked among the top ten most used mobile applications in the U.S. In addition, the ADC WorldMap Digital Atlas geographical data will be used to power AccuWeather.com weather widgets and applications available on all major mobile handsets and devices, including AccuWeather.com’s popular iPad, iPhone and Android applications.
